Wolftech Broadcast Solutions recently signed a contract with the world's largest broadcaster, the BBC, to use Wolftech News for all their news planning and resourcing activities. Between 8,000 and 12,000 BBC News journalists and production staff around the globe will take advantage of Wolftech News’ powerful planning and deployment tools to collaborate on story coverage and track resource usage. Now, Wolftech are looking to hire more employees.

Wolftech have had several recent breakthroughs both in Europe and in the U.S. Currently, Wolftech has existing contracts with VRT and Medialaan in Belgium, and Vice Media in the United States. Vice's use of Wolftech is focused on its daily and weekly news show for HBO. Wolftech also provide them with a Run Down module for news production that is integrated with both Mosart and Pilot Edge from Vizrt. Vice next wishes to expand the co-operative venture to also support their series programs and their more long form productions.

– By the time IBC's big TV trade show rolls around in September, we are very likely to have two more new contracts – one with another large TV channel in Europe, and a very exciting contract with a big network in Asia, says Arne Berven, CEO of Wolftech.

Wolftech Broadcast Solutions is one of the latest of a number of startup companies that have been launched by the TV 2 environment in Bergen.

– Our focus is to build the world’s best workflow system for helping media organizations streamline news production–from an idea, to a story, all the way through the entire production process to multi-platform publishing. Our solution has received a great deal of international attention, and we are working today with some of the world's largest news organizations. Our clear goal is to be the world's best in our field, and we want to hire the best employees onboard, says Berven.

– We want to push boundaries and enable the best user experiences via effective tools. The company is growing, and we have an exciting future ahead of us. A key prerequisite for our current venture is bringing new colleagues to the team. We are currently recruiting for Backend and Frontend Developers, one Designer, a QA/Test Manager, and a Project Manager.
