Vizrt-Chris dazzled crowd at NAB with a Ferrari

In an all-new AR show, the largest augmented reality show at NAB, Las Vegas, Vizrt’s Chris Black today impressed the crowd showing a photo-realistic graphic version of a Ferrari GTO from the stage.

Chris Black is the Head of Content & Communications at Vizrt, and one of the most experienced and well performed product presenters at NAB. Huge crowds always gathers around the Vizrt stand at NAB as Chris runs his famous Big AR Show to give the audience a taste of the Viz magic. This year, a collective gasp took over the audience when Chris started this years first AR Show with a virtual Ferrari.


 

With Viz Engine 4 broadcasters have new capabilities for rendering photorealistic data-driven graphics blended with a physical studio. The oohs and aahs came when Chris showed how designers have rendered a photo-realistic version of the original Ferrari GTO from the early 60s.

Electric Friends
Electric Friends with their cutting edge camera robots are also showcasing at the Vizrt stand, showing how the robots are integrated with the Vizrt tools, reporting to all AR/VR systems in the news room. A true Media Cluster collaboration.

The NAB Show is the world’s largest media convention.The exhibition comprises more than 120,000 visitors, 1,600 companies, including several members of The Norwegian Media Cluster.
