Previous study tours
In 2019 NCE Media organised two study tours for our members: IBC Amsterdam in September, and London/Cardiff in November.

A substantial part of the study tour value is the opportunity to network and discuss, both with companies and organizations we visit, but first and foremost amongst the fellow participants. During these intens days new relationships are build and interesting projects are planned between people and businesses. Networking is an important part of the study trip - new startup companies and new products have been launched as a direct result of such events. Our satisfaction surveys prove that the study tours are rated as one of the most valued assets of being a media cluster member.

New York, 2018: A delegation from the Norwegian Media Cluster visiting VICE Media.

Most study tours are targeted towards c-level executives, middle management and business developers who want to stay updated on emerging trends and new technology. We want participants who are engaged, passionate about the field, collaborative and eager to share their knowledge and insight.

Cardiff, 2019: Exploring the studios in the brand new BBC headquarters in Cardiff.

In feedback from our members they point to networking opportunities as crucial for their business development and that they on these trips found a common ground and new ways to collaborate. To quote one of our members; “In our company you meet Norway – at NCE Media you meet the world.”

* The study tour is free, but participants must cover travel expenses and accommodations. NCE will for most tours reserve a block of hotel rooms (first come, first served), and will make recommendations for air travel.
