mcb tech .20 and Future Week postponed

Published 19.03.2020
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the postponement of the 2020 mcb tech conference and Future Week. The events were to be held in June in Bergen, Norway, but is now postponed indefinitely.

Over the past few weeks, we have explored many alternative options to allow the conference to go ahead. However, the uncertainty created by the spread of COVID-19 throughout Norway, Europe and the rest of the world – and the restrictions put in place by the governments of the participating speakers and attendees and the Norwegian authorities - means that we, the organizers (NCE Media and NCE Finance Innovation) have taken the difficult decision to not continue with the event as planned. The health of contributors, staff and visitors, is at the heart of this decision, as is the solidarity with those who are most vulnerable amongst us.

We will evaluate the situation on an ongoing basis to explore the possibility of a rescheduling. Should it come to pass that mcb tech and Future Week can’t be executed until June next year, we will continue to offer you events throughout the fall with topics from the conference on future technology, innovation and more, all building up to an amazing 2021-conference, when we can all meet again in Bergen to discuss our common future, as its formed and shaped by technology.

Did you already get your ticket? Don’t worry. Tickets will automatically be valid for the new mcb tech date or will be made available for refund. All ticket holders will be contacted.

We are very proud how mcb tech and Future Week has brought together the world’s expertise on innovation and technology with our future focused audience and participants, and we are extremely saddened that it cannot take place in June 2020.

Stay safe and take care!
