The cluster organization is excited to welcome Einar Kaslegard as the new Project Manager for EU projects.

Media City Bergen has strengthened its organization with the appointment of Einar Kaslegard, who joins the team as the new Project Manager for the cluster's Horizon 2020 EU projects.

Kaslegard is a true media professional who brings a wealth of experience to the cluster organization. He started his career in production at commercial broadcaster TV 2 in 1992, where he later was entrusted with a number of different managerial roles spanning 20 years. Kaslegard joined Vizrt in 2018, taking on a role as Sales Manager, Scandinavia.

In his new role in Media City Bergen, Kaslegard will take the lead in the cluster's EU projects, Media Motor Europe and Stadiem. These projects are dedicated to developing incubator - and accelerator services for startups and scale ups in Europe in close collaboration with consortium partners and innovation hubs in Europe.

– I have been in the crossing point between technology, production and journalism in TV 2 Norway and recently in Vizrt, since the early 90's. I have been close to a lot of spin-offs, and to have the possibility to work with Media City Bergen to be in the middle of this and help build bridges between all these different parties is very exciting, Kaslegard says.

– I am humble to be a part of the Norwegian Media Cluster, which consists of a lot of extremely high skilled people and companies.

CEO of the Norwegian Media Cluster, Anne Jacobsen, believes that Kaslegard's network and experience makes him a great fit for the role.

– I am delighted to have Einar join the team. He has a deep understanding of the media industry and has built a vast network through a long-standing career at TV 2 and Vizrt. His broad managerial and technical experience in the media industry makes him a great fit, and having Einar on board will also be of great benefit to the cluster organization as a whole, Jacobsen says.
