Your journalistic questions must be streamlined into the logic of LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, if you are hoping to succeed in finding your target among opinions, cat photos, or self-promotion.

Learn how to search for photos, videos, and postings on Facebook by location and date, how to make invisible friend lists visible, and how to make your own formulas using a special search engine. On LinkedIn you will learn how to find very specific information in unexpected places using special commands; on Twitter, you will learn how to look for missing tweets, how to filter, and how to improve the accuracy of your answers.

Henk van Ess is an independent online search specialist for law enforcers, media, lawyers, fraud experts, cybersecurity, NGOs, and anyone else interested in the power and risks of online open-source information.
