Marty Cagan: Product is hard

Marty Cagan, founder and partner at Silicon Valley Product Group, shares his insight and knowledge from the product development space!

When

11. April.

Time: 13:00 - 15:00

What

As Steve Jobs said, "There's just a tremendous amount of craftsmanship between a great idea and a great product. As you evolve that great idea, it changes and grows. It never comes out like it starts because you learn a lot more as you get into the subtleties of it. And you also find there are tremendous trade-offs you have to make... Designing a product is keeping 5000 things in your brain and fitting them all together in new and different ways to get what you want. And every day you discover something new that is a new problem or a new opportunity to fit these things together a little differently." During this talk Marty Cagan will explore the nature of this craftsmanship, especially the critical collaboration between product management, product design, and engineering, and how strong product teams work to discover a great product.
Marty Cagan is doing this talk free of charge in honor of Anne Jacobsen, the recently deceased CEO of Media City Bergen. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to funding the Anne Jacobsen Memorial Award.
