In this session, held in the MCB Atrium, Bergens Tidende and Vimond will share how some ideas and concepts from the past be brought back to life with new technology, much to the delight of the audience.

Frøy Gudbrandsen, Bergens Tidende: How a digitized archive, made available to audience, can bring back memories and tell the old stories in new ways.

Paul Macklin, Vimond: Personalised Linear Channels - tune in and lean back!
Choice in OTT is ever-growing: what series, film or live event to watch tonight? Consumers however want to lean back, relax and enjoy personalised content like in the old days of linear scheduling, so what about your own personalised linear channel?

Bio: 
Frøy Gudbrandsen: Frøy is working as a political editor and has worked in Bergens Tidende since 2012. Ph.D. in Political Science. 
 

Paul Macklin: Paul is a broadcast professional with experience working in the all areas of the industry. Starting as an editor in post production, working on television series and feature films before moving into engineering both support and projects in Post Production, Live, Playout, Manufacturing & Sales. At Vimond Paul works as a pre-sales consultant with an interest in the changing dynamics of the broadcast industry and how OTT can lead the way in improving the viewing experience


These talks will be given in english. 

This event is a part of the Media City Bergen Future Week on June 11-14.
